Essentially an acrylic sketch, this picture marked the end of my infatuation with the airbrush. It's unabashedly gigeresque, but done entirely with a normal brush and confirmed for me that it was easier that way to get the kind of textures I liked.

Image-wise, this technological mummy waiting out the aeons in his weird sarcophagus has the same significance as the Hanged Man of the Tarot pack, abandoned to his fate.
